From a Non-Profit Do It Yourself perspective, we think that a band is beyond than a recording and an album: it’s shows, interaction with scene, tours, projects, etc..

There are lots of awesome bands but no one knows them or are forgotten. Without resources for recording or self-releases, it becomes compicated to be invited to play in gigs. Sometimes this problem comes from the fact that  no one had heard them yet.

Based on this the recording studio Artillery Sound and the label Hysterical Recs want to support the scene and promote bands.

This is the reason why Hysterical Recs. will distribute 30 copies of the demos recorded in Artillery Sound Studio with DIY labels, reviewers, fanzines’ editors, radio shows, people that upload the records on Internet, and anyone interested.

It’s an initiative that we hope will help the bands to at least receive invitations to play some shows, in and out their towns and  countries, to be played in radio shows, to have their demos online, have a nice recording and enjoy.

If this works and grows would be an awesome encourage for the label and the studio in our nonprofit aim to support the scene.
